When the knot comes undone...

I blame summer for my lack of posting...it just too hot to do much of anything. This is funny because as I type...I'm sitting in my office FREEZING my butt off! damn A/C! it has no middle! just freezing or melting!
Anyway...I'm still here, still crafting...and I'm excited because I've taken up knitting again! and it seems to be going well
Drop Stitch Scarf by Christine VogelIt's a free Ravelry download and SOOOOO easy! Even I can do it!

I'm also still sewing...but just barely! I've got my brain trying to come up with a shirt/dress? not sure which yet. I've got the perfect fabric just no knowledge to execute but I don't give up so easy so I'm still trying it out.

I did make another block for the Around the world quilt swap I'm in...

This is for Tonya in Australia...I hope she likes it!

I have been crocheting but what...I have no idea!

Fiberphile Yarns

I have been converted, thanks to The Fiber Collective, a local group on Ravelry. I can almost call myself a yarn snob!

I'd lie

Well hello there...it's been a while hasn't it? It seems like forever ago that I was telling you about my broken fridge and how we where living out of ice chests. Boy did that get OLD FAST! We currently have a working fridge now so all is better, I guess. We have forgotten all about the wrong parts ordered and the $200 non-working fridge we bought...we have forgotten about all the arguing and silent treatments over just replacing it with new. We even forgot about the night we spent at my mother's when the tension finally exploded and threatened to swallow us all. Sure you spent the night alone...but we have forgotten that too.
Let's be thankful for short memories...and if you ask me how I'm doing, I'd lie.

Cold as you

I wish! yes we are still living out of ice chests! Hopefully the part for the fridge shows up today? and hopefully it's the part needed to make the fridge work? and hopefully we'll have cold food and groceries tonight? HOPEFULLY?!

I hope you guys have a great 4th of July? I did...it's nice to have a 4 day weekend once in a while! and it's even better when you get to hang out with family and friends! Thank you ladies for letting me tag along to Sagebrush. The place is awesome! Butler's was nice too!

New month

We've officially crossed over to the second half of the year! Technically...one is supposed to re-evaluate our resolutions right about now but I don't want to. I was hoping to cruise for the rest of the year...since the beginning part of the year proved to be a little difficult. Until I got home last night from the sisters house...and noticed the fridge wasn't cold?! Crap! Our fridge broke! all the frozens where thawed...what the heck happend!?
So now...we weight the pros and cons($$$). Do we (husband) repair it? Call a repair person ($$$$)? Buy a new one ($$$$$$)? We did remember our son calling and telling us the power kept going on/off??? Did we power surge the fridge? is that possible??? Maybe I can file a claim with SCE???

For now...it's back to the old'n days!
