Progress

I finished making the squares for my circle to square blanket...FINALLY! now I have join and I'm kinda stuck...I don't want to have a ridge where I join and I'm not sure about the various methods I've searched for online...so this project goes in the hold pile.
I have been requested to make FBB's for mother's day gifts...4 to be completed before Mother's Day! I do LOVE a challange. and I've got exactly 4 weeks left in this semester so that means FINALS coming up very soon! I sure hope I'm ready and that I'm not in way over my head!

NOTHING to report

I've stalled...I took creative liberty with the pattern that I'm working on because I wanted a bigger circle in the middle of my square and now I can't figure out how many stiched I need to make the square go around this bigger circle and still look like a square! Aaaaa! I have a deadline! yeah I know it's not until June but I wanted this done WAY! before...you know to brag!

After working a full 8 hours at my full-time job...driving home (1 hour commute) cramming a sandwich down my throat...heading of to school (Drafting (30 minute drive)) I managed to finish up yet one more square for my circle to square baby blanket! it makes me that much closer to the dreaded joining but I can't wait!!! only 3 more squares to go!!!! then I have to figure out what the heck I did wrong on my granny big ol bag...

Such a slow weekend

Didn't make very much progress on my WIPs...I managed to finish 2 more squares for my circle to square baby blanket...so I've got 1 left of the size I'm currently working on and 3 left of the biggest size...then it's on to joining. How fun!
I made little progress on my granny big ol bag also...I did notice that in my haste to finish before spring is over, I may have been increasing at the turns?! so it seems like I have a very lopsided back! I have to count my stitches to make sure but I think I'll be frogging almost all of it! dang it...

On a non-crochet note I went to our Poppy Festival this weekend with the kids. They had a good time and came home with a rubberband gun and a potato gun. I know not a smart disision on my poart but I was tired of saying no...I checked out the local crafts area and they had some pretty neat stuff...not much in the crochet type but yes a few stands.
