Taken over...

I've become completely obsessed by these bags! I love making them...and slowly my sewing is getting better! This bag is MINE! my husband took one look at it and said "That one is yours. You like those colors" and I do! the only thing that's not working for me is the handle...it just seems too dark?

and yes I am crocheting...I'm working on the Christin Crop from Blueprint Crochet by Robyn Chachula. If you don't own this book yet, you should! the designs are gorgeous! Take a look for yourself.

Hi Lorena
You must be a whizz with the sewing machine and you're going to have your store up and running soon I'm guessing!
Nice work.

What a great bag! If only I could sew..well..I still couldn't make something that cute! (I found you through my cousin at Loving Pretty Things)

You and so many other woman have inspired me to start sewing again. I remember my first sewing teacher Mrs. Robinson with the Bowling Ball calves! Oh how I hated how she would sing the words baste and baste and baste.....I hated basting my projects...!

And remember the taylors chalk.....ok so Mrs. Robinson wasn't an inspiration and truth be told I was a brat in her class.....!

So, I am going to look for a not so fancy machine......I hate things that look complicated....yeah yeah I know it can do this and that but really I just want to keep it simple.....you know Tom is into computers, and technical mumbo jumbo and I swear I still don't know how to turn on our tv, let alone dvd.....when I tell you we have it all.......my living room is like the omni theater...no kidding........well that's his hobbie...I just smile and nodd cause I don't have an interest or a clue......and when he goes on and on (sort like I am doing in this comment) I hit him with honey please I understand about as much as you understand my crocheting...he say yeah and walks away!
The bag is lovely, I love orange and I agree I think I would have gone light on the strap...I like the color and the fabric but lighter for this time of year.
