WisHy, wAshY

I feel as though I'm all over the place...spread too thin...going no where FAST. Ever have those days? Try months! I think it's school...I get completely wrapped up in myself. I've neglected friends and family and crafting. I'm slowly finding my center...where all things balance out. I called Janice and made a girl-date with her (might happen). Spring break for the boys has been a nice break...maybe D will go back to school refreshed and ready to take on the rest of the school year...and hopefully pass 8th grade?! and crafting...{smile} I've done some of that too!
This is going to SIL for a baby shower...

and I started my cowboy quilt! I'm so excited about it...I know some of you out there in blogland would rather pierce your eardrums, then listen to some country but not me...I'm a cowgirl!
I'm a little stuck...originally I wanted to make the quilt like the picture above but then I thought maybe I could add a solid on one side like this...

(I know...blurry)but you get the idea! Thoughts?
Tonight I start a diaper bag for my sister. That should be...interesting?

Your as bad as me with the multiple projects. Well I love all music including county. Hey did you see the tribute they did for Alan Jackson the other night....hubster and I watched it. Hey you want to laughon my second date with the hubster he sang a country song to me in the car on our way to dinner.....it was the sweetest thing...and I might add he's got a decent voice..me on the other hand can't sing a note...sound more like a sick cow.
I am so excited; I signed up to take my first quilting class...I have the basics because I actually did quilting when I was a kid with my grandma.
I have been searching for a new sew machine....!! Hey did you see the sew machine give away? If not go here and check out this new quilting site...newletter...giveaway...

That baby blanket is awesome! yes, you are right, I dislike country. Afteryears of listening to it, while living with my first M.I.L., I got sick of it. All she ever did was listen to country, get drunk, cry, listen to country,,,,,,

Thank you Gi! I visited your link and signed myself up! That machine is awesome! I would love to take a quilting class, I've even started looking into it in my area but...anything new makes me break out in hives! I'm kind of antisocial.
How cute your husband sang to you! I did see the Alan Jackson "Giants" it was great!

Riohnna-I listen to everything...but I seem to always come back to country. Only I only listen...I get drunk on other occasions and I don't usually cry...;)

Love the baby blanket! I'm a country girl too and it drives my hubby crazy. But he puts up with it. I think I prefer it without the border, but I really like both of the options.
