32

...usually, I'm okay with 32 as in the years I've been alive. I mostly just pretend it isn't so and go about my business...and it works for the most part. Last night however, it did NOT. I picked up the mail last night on the way home from my sister's house (thanks for the invite...food was good) and in the mail was a letter address to the Parents of D. A. M...so I'm thinking "What the heck did he do now?!" and as I turn it over to open it I read
I was literally sick to my stomach! Come fall I will have a child in HIGH SCHOOL!

wicked awesome

Don't you hate when you're terribly proud of something you just finished...and you don't get a picture of it! I DO!!

Misty's mother-n-law wanted 2 Fat bottom bags to take back with her to Panama...She leaves tomorrow...so I got right on it! Made the red one right away! it had the crocheted handle, anyway I finished in record time..only took a day. I started the white one...this one was going to have to wait on the fancy handle I planned for it...while I was waiting for the handle I lined the red purse and it was all done. Well I got the handle for the white one yesterday and guess what?! it wasn't going to work!!! I could cry! so I lined the white one last night and began crocheting the handle for this one as well. I thought I could finish at work and still have plenty of time to mail it...but it was not meant to be! So I quickly packaged up the red bag and mailed it out with out taking a picture!!!

But a'lass I give to you the white one...

...get your motor running

I had a great week! It's seldom that I get to say that and mean it...sure I had the occasional hiccup but I got over it. I'm busy crafting...I've got 2 Bat Bottom Bags in the works. I'm trying something new with one of the purse handles...I hope it works?!

I'm feeling left out and a little jealous too! Everyone is on their way to looking great and I'm not on the bandwagon...yet. Way to go Christina keep up the good work and keep fighting the chocolate urge. You've inspired me!

I got to go to SuperCross with my sister-n-law and like always we had a great time!

we got to meet Ricky Carmichael that's my boys with him.

and for my week in pictures

My wish...

I know it's a bit late to be posting resolutions, but I really had to think about it this year. The usual

  • Lose weight

  • be nicer

  • be more housewife like

aren't going to cut it this year. Let's face it...nicer?! impossible! So this year I've resolved to

  • knit 1 wearable garment for myself.

...that is all.

Hope you guys are right on track with every and all your resolutions.

...more human than human...

Happy New year! I hope you all had a good holiday season. Mine was just lovely...I made new friends, and spend time with family. I must admit 2008 turned out to be a pretty good year.
Now about the title...me and tequila shots don't mix!
