Around the world...

I think I might have mentioned that I signed up for a quilting swap? I think I might have a button over on the right? Did I tell you how excited I am about it? How about, that I have to mail out my starter block by the 18th of this month? Well, it's all true!

I sat down yesterday, after I got some ideas from all the awesome blocks the ladies have put together, and made my own. It's not perfect but then neither am I, so I LOVE it. I can't wait to see how each and everyone of the ladies adds to my block.

Now it off to Nann, she'll add to it and pass it on it's next stop around the world! How cool is that!

I'm anxiously awaiting a block from Debby (?), I'll add to hers and pass it on it way around the world. Each block has 20 stops and at the end we end up with a beautifully unique quilt top?!

I think your square looks great! I got an email this morning from a craft site here is the link for a pattern for a pretty over the shoulder bag.

Ms. L I know I have to get the sewing machine out of the box and the reason why I havent is because the hubster is doing the basement over and down there is where I will have my sewing/craft/crochet/storage area! He is almost done with the shelves (he copied a design out of pottery barn) and then he will start my table.
The situation between my mom and I is rather rocky for a multitude of reasons, I just avoid the situation as much as possible and I am happier for it. Glad your ok and doing the positive....I get lost in a bit of self doubt and grief over my family and I have to do the positive affirmation and take inventory of what I do have and what I am grateful for. Life just is not that easy!!!

Anywho on a positive note i will get some pics posted in the next day or two.

I love your block. I have those charms laying around here somewhere and you just sparked my interest in them again.

Enjoy the block swap. -A
