Freeeeee

Our local fair opened on Thursday and on Friday it was free from 4-5pm and grandstand seating for the Lee Ann Womack and Clay Walker was also free. So I hitched a ride with my sister, who almost didn't get us there on time and we got in for freeeeeee. I made a quick pit-stop at the restroom (TMI) and of I went to stake out my spot in line for the concert...We got in by 5 and the concert didn't start until 7:30 so yes you might say I am slightly insane for waiting in line but it was worth it! and I had my socks to knit on while I waited.

great "FREE" seats!Lee Ann was awesome like always, although...maybe my mind/heart wasn't in it like usual or I was just in a mood? but she seemed to annoy me?!

and what a surprise Clay Walker was!!! Loved it! Beach balls and all! not bad for a night of FREE!

Mark you calendars! I know I can't wait for some FREE entertainment! You all can join me for the obligatory line-gating party, come early so we get a good seat...it's first come first serve you know. I'm going to try and catch all of them...wish me luck!

Finishing up

This was a week of getting things done...unfortunately my camera was giving me fits so I have no proof!


2008 secret summer camp swap~ completed! It was fun I stayed a secret for most of it and I liked mailing out surprise package to my pal Kate(sockmad) unfortunately I do not have a picture of my reveal package or any of the other packages for that matter but I had a lot of fun. Now I'm (im)patiently waiting my package from my unknown secret pal.


Pamper Me swap~completed! I forgot to take a picture of the goodies I sent my swap pal CJ (crochetgal) but I do have a picture of the goodies she sent me!




Just look at all of it! I think this is why I'm addicted to swapping!?



I got to go see Josh Gracin at the Anaheim House of Blues! That was awesome...my camera was confiscated so I have no pictures but it was still a great concert! I do have a t-shirt to remind me, and this



now if I could only finish up all the other work in progress' I've got all over my house!

Starlight Concert Series

and then...the down pour! yes you read correctly! The skies let loose on us mid-way thru the concert! I wish I could've gotten pictures of that! people scattering all around! I told DH before the concert started that I'd never seen a concert in the rain so I was not going anywhere!
