Begin handle flap as per pattern row 1
Row 2: *hdc in first stitch, hdc decrease in next stitch(es), repeat from* all the way across. Ch1, turn
Row 3: sc all the way across.
Fasten off
Do the same for the other flap handle but DO NOT FASTEN OFF!

Row 1: sc across the side (see picture above) 18sts. Turn
Row 2: ch 2, dc decrease in next stitch(es), dc across until 3 sts remain, dc decrease in next stitch(es) dc in last stitch. 16sts. Turn
Row 3: ch 2, dc decrease in next stitch(es), dc across until 3 sts remain, dc decrease in next stitch(es) dc in last stitch. 14sts. Turn
Row 4: ch 2, dc decrease in next stitch(es), dc across until 3 sts remain, dc decrease in next stitch(es) dc in last stitch. 12sts. Turn
Row 5: ch 2, dc decrease in next stitch(es), dc across until 3 sts remain, dc decrease in next stitch(es) dc in last stitch. 10sts. Turn
Row 6: ch 2, dc decrease in next stitch(es), dc across until 3 sts remain, dc decrease in next stitch(es) dc in last stitch. 8sts. Turn
Row 7: ch 2, dc decrease in next stitch(es), dc across until 3 sts remain, dc decrease in next stitch(es) dc in last stitch. 6sts. Turn
Row 8-30:
Ch 2, dc across. 6sts. Turn
Row 31: ch 2, 2 dcs in next st. dc across until 3 sts remain , 2 dcs in next stitch, dc in last stitch. 8sts. Turn
Row 32: ch 2, 2 dcs in next st. dc across until 3 sts remain , 2 dcs in next stitch, dc in last stitch. 10sts. Turn
Row 33: ch 2, 2 dcs in next st. dc across until 3 sts remain , 2 dcs in next stitch, dc in last stitch. 12sts. Turn
Row 34: ch 2, 2 dcs in next st. dc across until 3 sts remain , 2 dcs in next stitch, dc in last stitch. 14sts. Turn
Row 35: ch 2, 2 dcs in next st. dc across until 3 sts remain , 2 dcs in next stitch, dc in last stitch. 16sts. Turn
Row 36: ch 2, 2 dcs in next st. dc across until 3 sts remain , 2 dcs in next stitch, dc in last stitch. 18sts. Turn
Row 37: ch 1, sc across and fasten off.
